The ConnectWise Capital and CharTec Joint Venture Offers New Revenue-Generating Tools Exclusively to the IT Nation
CharTec CEO Alex Rogers and ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini announced a joint venture to offer HaaS exclusively to the IT Channel.
CharTec is the first recipient of funding from ConnectWise Capital, which incubates innovative solutions to be sold exclusively through the IT channel. The CharTec Hardware as a Service (HaaS) program enables IT Service companies to offer computer hardware and software to end users with no upfront capital investment.
Technology hardware is the “missing” piece of many Managed Service offerings. In today’s economy, many companies may postpone purchase of new equipment and updated software that they need to keep their operations running smoothly. For a standard monthly charge the CharTec program covers procurement, licensing, sales/marketing training, warranty replacement and helpdesk. This smoothes out businesses’ cash flow and ensures that all hardware and software is standardized and up-to-date.
In the upcoming year, CharTec and ConnectWise will work closely to integrate their hardware offering into ConnectWise business management software and further develop this valuable tool for the IT Nation.
About CharTec
CharTec is owned by ARRC Technology, a 17-year-old technology corporation based in Bakersfield, California, and has been a ConnectWise partner since 2007. ARRC Technology created and released CharTec, a “beyond HaaS” (Hardware as a Service) solution nationally deployed for IT clients, and in the year 2007, released CharTec to the reseller market.
CharTec “Hardware as a Service” (HaaS) program helps technology companies transition to the next level of annuity-based profitability as Managed Service Providers. CharTec Partners can increase their customers' productivity and reduce overall costs using the program because hardware and service costs are no longer an obstacle -- workstations, servers, firewalls, 24x7 helpdesk, even VOIP, are easily acquired. CharTec even goes “beyond HaaS” by providing private labeled hardware, professional sales, technical training and pricing tools that allows Partners to price offerings in less than 5 minutes. CharTec is the winner of three Channel Insider Bull’s Eye Awards and Business Solutions Magazine Innovator of the Year Award for 2009.
