The Company
Based out of West Palm Beach Florida, IT Solutions of South Florida is a premier Technology Managed Service provider who has been offering their services to the small and medium business market. In 2004, Deana and Jason began as a break/fix IT company working out of their home. In five short years they have successfully quadrupled staff, moved to an office and transitioned their business from break/fix to Managed Services. Today 90% of their business clientele are on the Managed Services model.
Converting clientele from break/fix to Managed Services the first time was not easy. When they went back to those same clients and offered their new Total Solution program backed by CharTec, they found the clients were more willing to listen and convert since they were now offering the hardware and eliminating the ”gray areas” of their previous agreements.
Deana and Jason both agreed that CharTec has helped them to enhance their Managed Service offering by providing clients hardware as well as creating a standardized network that would allow It Solutions of South Florida to better service each of their clients. After nine months as a CharTec partner with only existing clientele being converted, Managed Service revenue has increased 50%.

When asked how the clients responded to the Total Solution conversion, Deana admitted “clients were hesitant as they only saw the number first not the value. Thanks to the training and support we received from CharTec and attending the Academy, we were able to have the client step back and take a look at the bigger picture. There was no comparison, they were paying the same amount and getting so much more. This allowed them to see the value in our offering which in turn made them sign on the spot.” She admits they probably did things the hard way by starting with their existing client base before marketing outside, but they have reduced the amount of problematic clients, quieted the emergency tickets, and taken control of the business.
